**Attendance is required to participate in the Graduation Ceremony.** **All graduates must attend at least one of the two practice sessions to be eligible for the Graduation Ceremony.** Caps and gowns will be handed out after the graduation practices on May 12 and May 13. Graduation tickets will be provided at the conclusion of the final practice on May 14. Please note that event details, including dates, times, and locations, may change.

Unfortunately, students will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony if they do not attend the mandatory practice scheduled for ALL graduates on **(date and time)**. It is essential that graduates arrive at least 15 minutes before the practice begins, as we will start promptly at the designated time, with or without those who are late. The practice session will last between 2 to 3 hours, during which we will go through all parts of the ceremony multiple times to ensure everything runs smoothly on graduation night. Graduates are permitted to wear only the regalia from nationally recognized organizations or industry certification courses that are affiliated with South Sumter High School. This regalia will be distributed to students by their respective organization advisors prior to the graduation ceremony.
